The Richlands Can Line Upgrade and New Can Line project has earned Wiley recognition at the Australian Institute of Building Queensland Professional Excellence Awards 2026, for the successful delivery of a complex brownfield project for Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP).

Led by Senior Project Manager Dan Brown, the project modernised critical infrastructure and increased production capability without interrupting live operations at CCEP’s largest Australian manufacturing facility.

Building inside a live manufacturing environment

Delivering the Richlands upgrade inside a live, high-hygiene production environment required more than technical capability. Every stage demanded meticulous planning, close collaboration and an unwavering focus on safety, quality and operational continuity.

Working alongside CCEP, Wiley coordinated shutdowns, sequenced construction activities and adapted delivery methodologies to minimise disruption while maintaining stringent hygiene and contamination controls. The result was a major infrastructure upgrade delivered safely within a live manufacturing facility.

“This recognition reflects the expertise, commitment and collaboration of everyone involved in delivering this project,” said Dan Brown, Senior Project Manager at Wiley. “We’re proud of what we achieved alongside CCEP and our delivery partners.”

The award recognises the effort of Wiley’s project team, alongside CCEP and an experienced network of consultants and subcontractors, whose collaboration underpinned the project’s success. It’s the strength of these trusted partnerships and the depth of practical expertise that underpin Wiley’s work across Australia’s food and beverage manufacturing sector.
